Went into China Town, like mad dogs and English men in the heat of the mid-day sun, to experience the start of the 'chinese open house' celebrations which go on until fireworks at midnight. Watched some more lion dancing...see pics....and learned more about some of Penang's history....more of that later from Amanda. Had usual iced coffee and some very refreshing iced sugar cane juice.
